What are your opinions on the teaching of Sex Ed in high school as a credited course?

I have an argument/persuasive paper due and this is the topic I chose. Please tell me why schools should teach Sex Ed as a regular, credited course, or tell me why they shouldn't. Please give me arguments, not stupid comments. I am very curious. Thank you!

High-school = raging hormones and exerimentation. Sex ed will give you food for thought.
