Having, after, Talk, mean, wants

What does it mean when a guy wants to talk after having sex?

I had sex with this guy and afterwards he said do you want to talk or go to sleep? we talked for a little bit but he never called. I thought that this meant he liked me but then he didn't call so what does it mean?

Some people like the comfort of talking after sex. Maybe when you two engaged in the conversation, it was not what he was looking for. maybe you got a little bit too serious or just didn't mesh with his ideas. Maybe you didn't satisfy him sexually and he tried to compromise by seeing if you and him could have great mental sex and the entire experience just didn't work for him. my husband is kind of like this. He doesn't see sex as the end all of everything in a relationship, but if there isn't anything else to keep the fire going, then why pursue the relationship. Talking after sex to me is a sure way of ending the fire with me.
