Of the three chicks I took home from Pistil's Nursery, only Ginger was buff coloured. The other two were black. The gal working didn't know what breed they were, but the sign said they were sexed, dual-purpose breeds who laid brown eggs. Perfect.

The other two were named Frenchie and Rizzo. The only way to tell them apart at first was the white spot on Frenchie's head. Soon, however, Rizzo became the large one.

By the first week they were perching on a bamboo stick I put in the brooder cage and had begun to pop out some little wing feathers.

Story goes that these temples were decorated with the erotic motives to inspire the community to multiply, in order to be enough soldiers to defeat a dragon tormenting the country at those times.
